Medals For Peace

Peace medals (or medallions) were issued to all Australian schoolchildren in 1919. They commemorated the signing of the Treaty of Versailles on 28 June 1919, which formalised the Armistice of 11 November 1918. This one was found on a property near Wymah and donated to the Wymah Museum.
